2025 New York Tournament Collection: Style Reaches New Heights
The New York tournament, known as the most vibrant of the Grand Slams, is set to host Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev, Grigor Dimitrov, Arthur Fils, Ugo Humbert, Arthur Cazaux, Bernarda Pera, Erika Andreeva, and Chloé Paquet for the final stretch of the tennis season. Famous for unexpected sporting twists, this year’s tournament is just as surprising when it comes to style for the Lacoste team. Explore a colorful, high-performance wardrobe inspired by the runway — and beyond.

Novak in Lacoste at the US Open
The Lacoste x Novak Djokovic collection serves up a bold new take on style. For the U.S. tournament, the GOAT asked Lacoste for something unprecedented: to play in black. Novak’s always been particular about the colors he wears on court, usually matching the court’s tone. But the 2025 New York tournament marks a turning point — with black as his new signature.

His iconic wardrobe — featuring the ultra-light Lacoste polo shirt that has become legendary — is now entirely black or black trimmed with gold piping. Whether for daytime matches or the tournament’s famous night sessions, Novak, dressed all in black, sports a unique look. The shiny, grid-like graphic on his outfit evokes multiple tennis courts, inspired by the runway show’s energy.

“Working for a living sports legend like Novak Djokovic means meeting his expectations and striving for perfection.”

Runway Inspiration
The Lacoste Fall-Winter 2024-2025 collection, designed by Creative Director Pelagia Kolotouros, puts tennis front and center, featuring a distinctive “tennis racket” graphic crafted to resemble a shadow.
Bridging the runway and the hard courts of the New York tournament, this season the Lacoste team sports Ultra Dry Piqué polo shirts adorned with the tennis racket print inspired by the catwalk.
Played out in a vibrant color palette, the players’ outfits also include sleek, seamless pieces created with cutting-edge 3D knitting technology designed to boost performance.
